We act as a "Data Processor" for Services where we only process data on behalf of another entity (such as a corporate employer providing commutes for staff).

Age Restrictions:

  • User App: Intended for individuals 13 years of age or older.
  • Driver App: Intended solely for individuals 21 years of age or older.

We do not knowingly collect data from individuals below these thresholds. If you are under these ages, please do not submit personal data to us.

Personal Data We Collect

We collect information necessary to provide safe and efficient mobility services:

  • Basic Details: Name, gender, date of birth, phone number, email address, and login credentials.
  • Identification: Government-issued IDs (Ghana Card, Driver's License, Passport) and "selfie" photographs for verification.
  • Service & Location Data: Precise pickup/destination points and real-time GPS tracking during trips.
  • Payment Information: Handled via authorized third-party payment gateways; we collect transaction history and related verification info.
  • Device & Usage Info: IP address, browser type, device model, operating system, and app interaction statistics.
  • Communications: Records of chats with support, emails, and recorded phone calls (where you are notified in advance).

Lawful Basis for Processing

In accordance with Section 18 of Act 843, we process data only when:

  • Consent: You have given explicit permission.
  • Contractual Necessity: It is required to provide the service you requested.
  • Legal Obligation: We must comply with Ghanaian tax, transport, or data laws.
  • Legitimate Interest: To improve our services, ensure safety, and prevent fraud.
  • Public Interest: Where processing is necessary for public safety or by order of a Ghanaian authority.

Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your data. We share it only with:

  • Drivers: To facilitate your trip (they see your name, phone number, and location).
  • Corporate Clients: If your company pays for your ride, they may receive trip reports.
  • Service Providers: Third parties helping with cloud storage (AWS/Google), payment processing, and analytics.

Data Retention and Security

Retention:

We keep your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we retain certain data for up to 5 years to comply with financial, tax, and legal requirements in Ghana.

Security:

We use industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS), firewalls, and physical access controls.

Storage:

Data is stored on secure cloud servers such as AWS and Google. By using the service, you consent to the transfer of data to these secure international locations.
